Meridian Co-op Gardeners Tour at Kleiner Park

We’re gathering for a summer garden tour Saturday July 12 at the Kleiner Park Community Garden—and as ever, their space is absolutely abundant! Can’t wait to see what’s growing and connect with the folks who help make it thrive.

🌱 About the Garden
This communal garden is cared for by 33 families who plan, plant, tend, and harvest together twice each week. It’s a true cooperative effort—and a teaching garden, too. They grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, with much of the harvest shared with local food banks.

There’s a children’s program for the little ones whose families are involved, and they’re known for giving away flowers—just because.

🙌 Interested in volunteering?
Workdays are Tuesdays and Saturdays, and help is always welcome—whether it’s planting, composting, weeding, or caring for the pollinator garden nearby.

📍 Meet us at the garden at 10:45 am Saturday July 12th.
We’d love to see you there!

We have been fortunate to be able to make contact with a few of the gardeners who lost their spaces due to the sale of the Jordan Street Garden and bring them onboard.
