It’s not too late to get growing! June offers warm soil, long days, and lots of options for both direct seeding and transplanting. Here’s what to focus on:

🌱 Direct Seed – Early June:
Beans, broccoli, cabbage, collards, corn, kale, carrots, lettuce, cilantro, mustard greens, parsnips, summer & winter squash

🌱 Direct Seed – Late June:
Broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, corn, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, parsnips

👉 Plant carrots, cilantro & lettuce every 2–3 weeks for a steady harvest.

🪴 Transplant to Garden:
Ideal for broccoli, cabbage, collards, chard, kale, mustard greens, and both summer & winter squash

Still have starts? Go ahead and transplant:
Cucumbers, gourds, melons, okra, peppers, tomatoes, tomatillos, and herbs like basil, tulsi, dill, parsley, rosemary, and sage.
Pro tip: transplant in the evening or provide shade the first few days to help them settle in.

🌸 Annual Flowers to Direct Sow:
Amaranth, bachelor’s buttons, borage, calendula, cleome, cosmos, gomphrena, marigolds, nasturtiums, nigella (early June), phacelia, sunflowers, tithonia, zinnias

🌼 Transplant These Blooms:
